EXPLAST is a family-owned trading company specializing in plastic granules and operating in the plastics market since 1995. In addition to supplying materials, we provide expert advice on their selection and processing.

In many cases, production trials are also attended by technical representatives of the manufacturers in whose laboratories the materials, catalysts and technologies we offer were developed.

Thanks to our extensive network of warehouses in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Slovenia, we ensure fast and reliable deliveries of plastic granules throughout Central Europe.

We dispatch materials from warehouses in Brandýs nad Labem, Prague-Horní Počernice, Pohořelice, Nitra and Trnava, as well as from other warehouse locations. We supply quantities ranging from a single bag to a full truckload.

We primarily supply commodity plastics, including polyethylene, polypropylene and styrenic plastics, for conventional processing technologies such as injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding, as well as specialised processes including rotational moulding, compounding, surface coating and the production of expanded and extruded polystyrene. We also offer selected additives and colour concentrates.

Polyethylene for film production represents our most important product group. Our portfolio includes C4, C6 and C8 copolymers, very-low-density polyethylene (VLDPE), ultra-low-density polyethylene (ULDPE), PE plastomers, advanced LDPE grades and plastics produced using metallocene catalysts (mLLDPE). We also supply Vistamaxx PP plastomers as a cost-effective alternative to thermoplastic elastomers.

Our plastics are used in a wide range of products – from packaging, household goods, toys and sports equipment to furniture parts, technical fibres and automotive components. We select materials according to the processing method and the required properties of the final product, including strength, flexibility, durability, low weight and appearance.

Our materials are also used in construction, agriculture, science and research, as well as in the compounding of customised plastic blends.
